NYFW: SELF-PORTRAIT Spring 2019 Ready-To-Wear Favourite Runway Looks | New York Fashion Week

Texture is often the key at Han Chong's Self-Portrait shows.
This season, Self-Portrait showed a collection of ruffled, asymmetrical pieces
filled with playful prints like graphic floral and geometric prints.

The signature Self-Portrait way,
is to splice and layer different prints and patterns literally in one dress,
often with the same color tone but different prints.

This new collection is about different colors and patterns all mixed in,
blended together with crochet and lace yet they all worked so well together.

Besides prints and patterns, they also have great solid pieces for
people who prefer simplicity and uncomplicated clothes.

NYFW: MONSE Spring 2019 Ready-To-Wear Favourite Runway Looks | New York Fashion Week

Monse showed their signature silhouettes on the Spring 2019 runway
as in asymmetrical off sided collars where buttons are on the side.
The show was all about asymmetrical necklines and hemlines with a nautical theme.
When you think of the theme nautical, the sailors,
the stripes, the blues, ropes and chains comes in mind.
Ropes were abundant for their nautical collection with playful prints.

One of my favourite looks, rainbow striped skirt with a short on the other side
paired with a matching rainbow striped sandals.

A menswear look with rope patterned socks and sandals.

Cool halter pieces look with unexpected touches.
The halter part was actually done with a rope surprisingly.

You could see knitted bags in this collection where we can
expect knitted bags to be a major trend after wicker bags.
Everyone was literally obsessed with raffia or rattan bags this season
but expect knit bags to be huge next season.

Millennial Pink Is The World’s Favorite Lipstick Shade And Here's Why It Became The Worldwide Lip Trend

Millennial Pink returns as the world's favourite lipstick shade this year!
Not Red, not Purple or Brown, but Millennial Pink!

According to the research from YouCam Makeup
this pink shade is officially the hottest lip color globally across the US, UK and Asia.

Millennial Pink is a blush shade darker than baby pink
but softer than peach and shocking pink.
It's actually quite similar to Rose Quartz, Pantone's 2016 Color Of The Year.

When it comes to lipsticks,
I tend to choose rosy and pinky shades as it flatters my skin tone.
The pink hues makes it more flattering and looks good day or evening.

Below, I have listed a few of my favourite pink lipsticks to share with you!
